How do I see a list of the MBA elective courses?
Electives are available through the UW MBA Consortium and can be found here.
How do I know what is offered when?
Go here for or an overview. Click on the term you are interested in, then click on “Elective Courses” to see the list of classes being offered.
Do I have to apply for the Consortium program?
No. You need to apply as a Graduate Special Student. There is no application fee.
First, contact the UW MBA Consortium office at [email protected] to find out if the class you are hoping to take is available (be sure to mention you are a University of Minnesota Duluth student). If it is, then go here and submit an application to UW-Eau Claire as a “Special student at the graduate level>> in Business. If you are a Minnesota resident, you will also need to complete the Minnesota Reciprocity form.

How do I register for courses?
Once you have completed and submitted your special student application, it usually takes 1-2 business days for you to be admitted. After you are admitted, you will receive a username, password and information on how to access CampS for registration.
You must then contact the UW MBA Consortium office at [email protected] to confirm that the class you want is still available. If space is available, you will then be given permission to enroll.
What is the current cost?

Will my Financial Aid cover these courses?
No. Financial aid will be awarded based on enrollment at UMD only. You must be enrolled in 3 or more credits at UMD to be eligible for financial aid.
