2024-25 LSBE Scholarship applications are now closed.
Last year LSBE awarded approximately 140 scholarships, totaling over $440,000. Most scholarships are awarded to juniors and seniors, but there are also scholarships for freshmen and sophomores. The minimum award for an LSBE scholarship is $1,000, and several are $2,500, $4,000, and higher. Each scholarship has different criteria, and may or may not include: financial need, merit, GPA, and meaningful extracurricular activities or community service.
You must be enrolled at UMD in LSBE for one or more semesters during the 2024-25 academic year in order to be eligible for an LSBE scholarship. If you change colleges outside of LSBE during the 2024-25 academic year, you will lose your LSBE scholarship.
If you received a renewable scholarship in 2023-24, please re-apply for the 2024-25 renewal.
Complete the scholarship application and you will be considered for all scholarships for which you are eligible.

Note: A large dollar value scholarship requires a short essay to provide additional information to donors. Use the LSBE Scholarship Essay Form and follow the directions provided. This is in addition to the application. The essay form can be found here.
