UMD Student Awards
The UMD Student Awards recognize the outstanding service and leadership to our campus and community by students and the incredible work by staff and faculty for our students. Several LSBE students and programs were honored at the 2016 Students Awards Program in April.
Outstanding Student Organization of the Year
This award recognizes a student organization that has displayed outstanding support and growth of its members as well as demonstrated outstanding service to the University and/or greater community in the past academic year.
- Rotaract Club
Featherman Award
This award honors students who have best exhibited, by personal example and actions, accomplishments that encourage greater understanding between diverse groups.

Bulldog Award
The Bulldog Award is awarded to students, typically juniors or seniors, who have served in at least one area where outstanding service has positively affected the University community within the past calendar year.

Arrowhead Awards
The Arrowhead Award is given for exemplary service to an organization. Each organization president or representative may submit the names of one to five members of their group. If more than five nominees from one group are received, Kirby Student Center reserves the right to accept only the first five received.
