Joseph Grant, Administrative Director
While everyone at LSBE plays an instrumental role in the school’s success, Joseph Grant’s job touches almost every functional aspect of LSBE. He provides leadership and oversight of the school’s financial, operational, human resource, and data management policies and practices.
Grant doesn’t work directly with students but everything he does impacts the students in in some way. And he keeps this in mind as he does his job.
It’s no wonder that he most enjoys working with people who are committed to supporting students and who are intellectually curious.
“My role,” he said, “allows me to ask questions of UMD’s leadership and, in turn, answer administrative questions within LSBE to ensure that we are providing a quality educational experience for students and a supportive environment for faculty and staff."
His free time is spent gardening and hiking in the summer, while in the winter, he curls and cross-country skis.
