In her role, Ward provides administrative support for 18 faculty members across several department disciplines—Entrepreneurship, Human Resource Management, Organizational Management and Management Information Systems.

She provides the behind-the-scenes support for both the Beta Gamma Sigma event and business plan competition. On the university level, Ward is a representative for Civil Service bargaining members on the Staff Senate and secretary of the AFSCME Local 3801. Both of these positions are three-year commitments.

Ward believes in the credo of "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life."

“What I love about my job is definitely the people! I am surrounded by genuine, kind, caring colleagues and amazing students, who make my job so enjoyable.”

Ward’s free time consists of enjoying the outdoors with her family—hiking, biking, running, and camping. “I'm passionate about teaching my children to love the life you live; live the life you love.”
