Duane has spent his career in financial services leading operations and strategic planning. He has 15 years of executive leadership experience, most recently as a senior vice president at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis.

He began his career in retail banking and business development. Duane has also led human resources and has extensive experience in leading high-performance teams and developing training and creating a culture of inclusion. He led Treasury Services through multiple consolidations and won the competitive bidding process to become the sole customer contact center and operations support for savings bonds and Treasury marketable securities for the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Bureau of the Fiscal Service. He also serves as vice-chair of the board of directors for Northwest Area Foundation.

Duane received a doctor of education in organization development and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas, and a bachelor’s degree in agriculture business from the University of Minnesota.
