LSBE's Week of Service Ends with Pies ... in Faces

This year's LSBE Week of Service will culminate with a “Pie-stravaganza” event in the atrium on Friday, March 24.

Any time used on a service activity or donations or dollars gathered by a person between March 1 and March 23 will give that person a chance to (lightly) deliver a pie into the face of an LSBE administrator, professor, and/or staffer in the LSBE Atrium on Friday, March 24, from 11:45 a.m. to noon.

Eight lucky participants will get to deliver whipped cream pies. The event will celebrate the student clubs and individuals who participated in the most service hours or who donated items to Champ’s Cupboard.

All LSBE students, student clubs, staff, and faculty are encouraged to participate in one or more service activities or bring a non-perishable food items to the LSBE Cyber Café for donation to Champ’s Cupboard.

The LSBE Outreach Committee has organized several service activities, such as packing/sorting food donations at Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank, preparing and serving meals at the Damiano Center, or organizing and archiving Camp Miller materials at the YMCA.

More details can be found on LSBE's website.
