UMD’s Labovitz School of Business and Economics and the Career and Internship Services Department are presenting the Fourth Annual Dress for Success Business Attire Show to educate student attendees on how to dress appropriately for interviews and job fairs. Students will see for themselves what to do and what not to do when it comes to dressing appropriately in business professional and business casual attire.

WHEN - February 15, 5:00 p.m.

WHERE - UMD Kirby Ballroom

This year’s retail vendors are maurices, Younkers, The Loft, and Mainstream Fashions for Men. Student models are, Jason Spanier, Anthony Mavetz, Antonio Davis, Brandon Colucci, Andrew Atcher, Natasha Perkerwicz, Iman Geleto, Christy Masog, Katelyn Spanier, and Rachel Prom.

“As a UMD student, I constantly see other students wearing sweatpants to class. I believe it is essential to dress your best at every opportunity because you never know when you will run into someone who will be a future reference or contact for your career,” said Gabrielle Ickert, Dress for Success Lead Student Planner.

“I have loved volunteering my time for the past two years to an event I feel passionately about. Dress for Success educates and influences students towards a more prosperous and successful future as students, leaders, and career-minded individuals. I feel I am making a difference by helping others look their best for some of the most important endeavors in their undergraduate years."
