We are proud to share that Kevin McGuigan (’02) recently won the Executive of the Year in manufacturing at the Singapore Business Review (SBR) Management Excellence Awards. McGuigan is currently the Vice President and Managing Director, Southeast Asia and Country Leader with 3M in Singapore.
The award recognizes excellent executives, innovators, and teams, as well as HR and company initiatives that promote the well-being of employees.
“Through Kevin McGuigan’s leadership, 3M created differentiated value for the company’s stakeholders,” Singapore Business Review. “Successfully leading the company through the pandemic, he helped to drive an intense focus on employee safety and productivity. In addition, he worked with a cross-functional internal and external team to navigate supply chain challenges that arose as a result of COVID-19.”
McGuigan’s team also received the Secretary of State’s Award for Corporate Excellence (ACE), which recognizes and honors U.S. companies that uphold high standards as responsible members of their communities. 3M Singapore was honored in the Economic Inclusion category for advancing the fight against COVID-19 by ramping up the production of N95 respirators to help protect frontline healthcare workers, first responders, and the broader public.
