Internships are the best way students can prepare for the transition into a career following graduation. They also help students attain gainful employment after graduation. Internships are experiential learning opportunities which afford students the chance to temporarily “try out” a job to determine if it is a good fit, gain on-the-job experience in their field of study, and learn directly from industry professionals.
LSBE provides an in-house internship program under the leadership of a designated director, who shepherds over 200 internships each year. The director interacts with both the interns and the employers to ensure students receive the maximum benefit an internship can offer.
