Dr. Ren’s research employs game theory and experimental methods to study how biases can affect business decision-making and economic performance. His research work has been published in leading journals such as Management Science, Journal of Public Economics, Journal of Economic Psychology, European Journal of Operational Research, OMEGA, and Transportation Research Part E. He served as the academic advisor for the international dual degree program between UMD and Changshu Institute of Technology in China. He serves as a former co-chair and current secretary of UMD’s Employees of Color and American Indian mentoring program.
