Research Interests

When I am not teaching, I am doing research, aka learning. My research interests include the study of international corporations and how multinationals adjust their strategies to respond to cultural and socio-political differences. I also enjoy writing case studies about
local businesses and organizations. Being able to share my knowledge, either through the classroom or my research, provides me great joy.

I am fortunate to have been published in the Journal of Business Case Studies, the Journal of Business and Economics Research, Ivey Publishing, Global Journal for Business Pedagogy, Case Research JournalBusiness Studies Journal, and SAGE Business Cases.

This faculty member is interested in working with students on research.

Industry Experience

I was employed in the field of international business and marketing from 1991 to 2002, but switched gears in 2003 and became a college professor. I thoroughly enjoy teaching!

Additional Information

The world has been my playground and my classroom. With my passport holding stamps from approximately 40 countries and 12 years of employment at multinational companies in the Middle East and New Zealand, I have found that the world is both small and large, and that I have much more to learn.

However, my family provides me the most joy. I love being a father to an amazing daughter and a wonderful son. It is with pride that I have taken on the role of family historian, capturing the memories and life-happenings on camera. Ten years ago, my life was very different. Today I am living the American Dream with the added privilege of teaching college students, the future of America. My former students will attest that my classes are both informative and fun!
