Applicants must complete the GMAT or the GRE prior to applying for admission to the MBA program. Generally, GMAT (or GRE) scores are considered to be valid for a period of only 5 years after completion of the test. The GMAT measures general verbal, quantitative, and analytical writing skills that are developed over a long period of time. It is designed to help graduate schools of business assess the qualifications of applicants for advanced study in business and management.
While the desired standard for admission is an overall GMAT score at the 50th percentile or above (approximately 550), a score at the 25th percentile or above on the each of the verbal, quantitative, and analytical writing analysis parts of the GMAT is also required. We will accept GRE scores at the 50th percentile or higher if they were taken within the past 5 years.
- Note that under certain circumstances, MBA-PharmD dual career students may substitute a PCAT score at the 50th percentile or higher if taken within the past 5 years.
The GMAT/GRE requirement is waived for those applicants who have passed the CPA exam or who have previously completed a graduate degree from an AACSB or EQUIS accredited institution or a regionally accredited U.S. institution.
