The Labovitz MBA is one of only two MBA programs accredited by AACSB International in the University of Minnesota system (the other being at the Carlson School of Management on the Twin Cities campus). We are only one of six in the entire state and the only AACSB accredited program in the Duluth and Rochester regions.
This accreditation means a rigorous review process and ongoing evaluations of faculty qualifications, curriculum, continuous improvement processes, assessment practices, and student and faculty resources. Only five percent of business schools worldwide are able to achieve this accreditation, which guarantees your MBA meets the highest criteria established by the management education community.
What are the other benefits of a Labovitz MBA?
Global Recognition. The Labovitz MBA is issued by the University of Minnesota's Graduate School, which is globally recognized for its academic excellence.
Convenient, Face-to-Face Courses. The majority of our curriculum is delivered in person. Why do we feel face-to-face classes are important? The high achievement of our incoming students contributes a great deal to the quality-learning environment we strive to cultivate in our classes and in the program in general. You will learn much from your colleagues in the discussion-rich environment established by our accomplished faculty. Courses are generally offered in the late afternoon or evening. A 3-credit class in Duluth meets once or twice each week for the full semester.
Ph.D. Qualified Faculty.
Speaking of faculty, the majority of our faculty are PhDs with an active research agenda in the area that they teach. They know the theory, and are experts at communicating those theories in ways you can understand and apply in your career.
