LSBE Frontline Leadership Certificate Program
|Julie Ahasay earned her MA in Speech Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Superior. She has developed and presented workshops for a range of local and regional organizations—including St. Louis County Health and Human Services and the University of Minnesota Medical School Organ Donation Program—on topics such as crisis communication, humor in the workplace, gender communication, and dealing with conflict in organizations. Ms. Ahasay previously held faculty positions at the University of Minnesota Duluth and at the College of St. Scholastica, where she taught courses in communication, public speaking, public relations, and advertising.
|Jerritt Johnston earned his MA in Education from the University of St. Thomas and is the owner of True North Consultants, a leadership development and organizational consulting business. He has spent his professional career training individuals and facilitating organizational growth. Mr. Johnstone’s resume includes leadership positions in both for-profit and non-profit organizations. His personal story is filled with challenge and adventure and it led him to start True North in 2008. He is an avid outdoors-person, has also worked as a wilderness canoe and dogsled guide, and is an ultra-endurance athlete.
|Kanhaiya Sinha holds a PhD in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the University of Calgary, and earned his MBA in Finance from McGill University. He is a Department of Management Studies faculty member in the Labovitz School of Business and Economics at the University of Minnesota Duluth. Dr. Sinha’s research focuses on human capital and entrepreneurial outcomes, and on performance variability in entrepreneurial contexts. He has provided professional development and training for variety of organizations, and teaches a range of management studies courses for LSBE.
