All Marketing Analytic majors and minors are required to complete an analytics internship.  The analytics internship (MKTG3767) is a 1 credit internship and includes a minimum of 100 hours of relevant analytic work experience. 

You can choose to complete the internship in an industry or sector of interest.  We will assist you in searching for an appropriate position, preparing you for the interviews and networking with analytic professionals to find the right opportunity for you.   The ReMAP Program Director and Industry partners have ensured that all Program participants secure appropriate internships.

These are paid internship positions and while a minimum of 100 hours is required to complete the major or minor, most students have accepted full time positions for the duration of the Summer, i.e. 8 – 10 weeks.  A number of companies use internships as a means of recruiting full-time, entry level analyst positions so a number of ReMAP students return to campus for the final semesters with full-time employment already secured.

Companies hiring ReMAP participants as Summer Interns, have included:   maurices, Target, Best Busy, Supervalu, Kohl's, 3M, Schwan's Food Company, Toro, Hormel Foods, USBank, Amsoil, Christopher and Banks, BASF and Polaris to name just a few.  To hear what a few of our students have to say about recent internship experiences please see the videos below:
