Related Student Activities
As part of the Marketing Analytics Program, students also participate in relevant competitions like the Midwest Undergraduates Data analytics competition held each year in April on the Winona State University Campus. The competition involves a lot of data analysis, industry discussions, and very little sleep. In 2015, the MAP team took 3rd place at the competition.
Students in the Program also work on industry projects each semester. Sponsors of these projects include: Hormel, Target, maurices, and Schwan’s food company. These projects provide additional analytic experience which students can use as they interview for internship and full-time analytic positions.
Finally, students meet as a group at least monthly each semester to learn about a topic of interest, socialize, and network.
